Dear ,
Law of Attraction has been all the rage ever since the movie The Secret came out. But some people are finding that the practice of it is easier said then done. To be a "vibrational match" to our desires takes thinking and feeling our way differently through our lives. It takes noticing negative habitual patterns of thought and shifting them. It takes focusing on the best of a situation rather than the worst of a situation. It takes keeping the mind on what can be rather than what is. It takes spending more time in "allowing" than in "resisting."
While I have truly enjoyed being challenged by these exercises in applying them to different areas of my life, I will be the first to admit it: tending to all these details can be down right exhausting!
Recently I heard a different interpretation of Law of Attraction that breaks it down in a very user- friendly, simple way.
This week, we discuss. |

"In your action, you lose sight of the vision, you lose sight of your trust in the process, and you just bang around in a sense of futility. Hold the vision and trust that the Universe will acclimate to your vision. Hold the vision and trust the process."
~Abraham-Hicks
Essentially, there are three steps to Law of Attraction: Intention, Attention & No Tension.
1. Intention: Everything begins with intention. We intend our way into our future. In living life and being with the contrast, we learn very clearly what we don't want. In what we don't want, we learn more pointedly what we do want. Intention setting is what I consider "conscious wanting". We are not on the fence about it anymore. We intend to have the thing we desire. We intend to be successful. We intend to be partnered. We intend to be published. We intend to be prosperous.
2. Attention: Once we set our intention, we don't just forget about it. We do our part in moving toward it. Giving our attention to something doesn't always have to mean taking a physical action. Sometimes the most powerful action happens in the imagination. Mary Morrissey talks about creation happening twice: First in the mind, and then in reality. Everything is thought before it becomes form. What we focus on grows. If we place our attention on what we are intending to create, chances are we will create more of it. Where we place our energy, form has to follow.
3. No Tension. This is what Abraham-Hicks, the foremost teachers of Law of Attraction, calls a "state of allowing". No tension means, don't try to make something "happen", simply make it "welcome". When we are trying too hard, it usually has to do with overcompensating for feelings of lack, or not being good enough. "No tension" actually ends up being a lot about trust. And because of this, out of all of the three steps, this is the one most difficult for people. "No tension" is about letting go. It's about trusting our goodness, our worthiness and the perfection of the universe. It's about rehearsing the mantra "This or something better" and knowing that what is ours is on our way to us. It's about having faith in the best possible outcome while also being okay with what is. It is about allowing, not resisting, our good.
While it might seem formulaic, the art of creating is actually quite natural. We intend, we attend and then we let go. Like in nature, if we want to grow tomatoes, we plant tomato seeds. We water and tend to our garden. We anticipate growth. We shepherd the process as far as we can take it, and then we let go and allow for the vine to bear fruit. We don't do the growing for the tomatoes. If all the conditions are ripe, the growth happens naturally.
Similarly, we trust that there is something happening behind the scenes in our own life. We desire the thing we want, intending to have it. We create the conditions that make the thing welcome. We shepherd the process as far as we can take it.
And then we let go and allow it to come into form.

BRAD YATES
If you want to get rid of any emotional barriers that stand in the way between you and what you want, EFT is one of the quickest routes to "freedom".
As Brad says, "It's an abundant universe; a limitless universe and the extent to which we are not experiencing that which we say we want in our life is the extent to which we are resisting it. That resistance comes from our thoughts, or our limiting beliefs and they actually show up as blocks in our energy system. Through tapping on the meridian points, we can actually clear those blocks and experience freedom." He affectionately calls EFT "Mental Floss".
If you struggle with beliefs around money and want to change them, he has a very powerful program he developed with Joe Vitale, from the movie The Secret. The program is called Money Beyond Belief.
You can read more about it here ==> http://budurl.com/bradyatesmbbIf you have struggled with weight loss or body image, he developed a program on this as well. It's called (not surprisingly) Body Beyond Belief.
Find out about it here ==> http://budurl.com/bradyatesbbbALSO, Brad came out with a new program this year called Confidence Beyond Belief. On this one he partners with Master Hypnotist, Steve G. Jones and together they combine their best talents to put forth a program that promises to positively boost your confidence level (at a minimal cost)!
I'm a fan of Brad's and highly recommend any and all of his programs.
