In celebration of the genius of A.W. Tillinghast -- the "Dean of American Golf Course Architects" -- the Tillinghast Association published three volumes of original Tillinghast essays on golf and course design, loaded with vintage design sketches and antique photographs.
The books The Course Beautiful (1995), Reminiscences of the Links (1998) and Gleanings From the Wayside (2001) are a treasure chest of Tilly stories and information that include his thoughts on the early golfers, course design and the evolution of the game. Tillinghast had the unique ability to write about golf course design in a way that is accessible to all that love the game!
These books are being offered for the first time as a complete set of three books numbered and signed by the editors - Richard C. Wolffe Jr., Robert S. Trebus and Stuart F. Wolffe. There are only 36 of these limited edition sets available at a discount of $150.
