NEW Locator Finds Ground Faults Quickly & Easily

FaultMaster Ground Fault Locator

We are very excited to announce the launch of the FaultMaster™, the first Schonstedt ground fault locator. We've spent 3 years in R&D and testing on this instrument, and we're proud to report that the FaultMaster lives up to the Schonstedt family standards for quality, precision, and durability.

This new locator detects ground faults in direct buried cables when insulation damage causes a "leak" to ground. A transmitter forces a signal into the cable, and the "A-frame" is walked along the cable path until the fault is detected and displayed on the instrument screen. The A-frame is lightweight and very easy to use. The Tx5™ transmitter uses rechargeable batteries, and the A-frame uses 4 AA batteries.

A Multi-Tasking Instrument: While no receiver is required for ground fault locating, the Tx5™ transmitter, when paired with the Schonstedt XTpc, TraceMaster, or other receiver, doubles as a great pipe and cable locator.

According to Curt Sumner, Executive Director, "the Key Governor Award was developed specifically to recognize extraordinary effort by a Governor, which is clearly an honor, especially considering that it is bestowed by one's peers."
