Broward Meals on Wheels

Founding Partner Lisa Jebb has been a committed volunteer for almost 4 years; taking time every Wednesday morning to deliver meals to the good people on her route. "It's not just about the food - although that is obviously critical," says Lisa. "It may also be the only human contact they have that week and it gives me a chance to make sure they are okay."

This organization coordinates drivers, shoppers, dining room staff and clerical workers to achieve their ambitious goals - so in addition to financial donations, there are lots of ways to make a difference.
