June, You Hoo!

Greetings!

Up and until now I have astutely avoided getting involved with electronic media. unfortunately my luck has run out and I have been ordered by the Supreme Commander of the Galactic Forces (Sue) to get involved. I am not sure that this is a good idea as I tend to be a little outspoken and I can see the dreaded hand of censorship hovering over my diatribes. So be it!
June is upon us and I sincerely hope it not as confused as May. By now we usually have all the plants in the ground so the next few weeks will be frantic as we catch up on May's chores. This is a good time to visit as there are lots of lambs to see grazing on the tender shoots of new grass. Once again two litters of foxes are being raised on the farm and you might be lucky and catch a glimpse of the kits. We are into BBQ season and this great event. Check out the notes in Restaurant Scuttlebutt. They tell me that that funny F symbol has something to do with face book. So check it out and let me know if it works. Have a great June and be sure to take some time out to visit.

BREAD SALAD
Salads can be a dish one prepares because it is correct to eat a salad with your meal. Very often it is prepared, half heartedly nibbled and the rest tossed into the compost. Of course there are those of us who are avid salad munchers. The following recipe is for those who love their meats and carbohydrates and reluctantly eat their salads. It is a one dish replacement for vegetables, fresh greens and carbohydrates and is eaten with any protein dish. For those of us who eat little or no animal protein it is a standalone dish. Once you have made it in one form you will find yourself making all sorts of variations
