Hello 2010! Good-bye '09!!
 
Greetings!

There appears to be a consensus -- many people were happy to kick 2009 to the curb. So let's start the New Year with some positive news!

We were so pleased with the results from our growing online presence. Our shopping cart is coming along (yes, we still do hit bumps in the road, but when learning to walk, one must expect to end up on one's fanny from time to time!) And our ezine list is just shy of 1000 readers in only 8 months! Now there is reason to celebrate.

Sue is moving forward with this progress... there will be more travel and networking and (dare we say?) the possibility of more online marketing! Whoa girl! There's much to explore and to learn... and it's exciting!

Patrick is going for some surgery on his shoulder in the next couple of weeks. And to take some stress off both our shoulders, our amazing staff -- in lieu of a gift for us this Christmas -- has offered up a day of their time to help us work on our house! There may be sanding and painting and Lord-only-knows-what going on! How lucky we are to have such thoughtful and helpful people on our team.

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, so take note in this issue of some of the events and specials we have for lovers this month!

This is a wonderful dish and a staple of every Mauritian home. As Kraft noodles is comfort food to North Americans so is a rougaille the comfort food of all Mauritian kids. As I was brought up by Mauritian parents I have eaten many rougailles. I highly recommend it as a winter dish for family and friends.
