Over two days we will explore together what God is blessing to uncover the mysteries of discipleship in community, to examine small group community as a missional unit, to sense God's holy purpose in bringing together the Body in small numbers, and to consider why He has called us to this. In 1 Peter 1:13 (NIV) we read, "Prepare your minds for action and be self controlled." Prepare your minds for action -- the Greek literally means gird up your mind, like a soldier would cinch up his belt and prepare for battle.  He's talking about being mentally fit.

There's no question this principle applies to technology. Technology has opened unprecedented doors for the gospel. It has given ministries the opportunity to multiply their reach exponentially. It has made biblical knowledge accessible to billions. We live in a "more-faster-now" society. And ministry leaders love it because it means we can dream bigger, do more, and reach further.
