Debris BasinChris Stone from LA County Public Works will be at our meeting to discuss the work currently being done to enlarge a few of the local debris basins: Plans include placing a culvert above Upper Canyonside (Briggs Terrace) with financial assistance from the CVWD. Brief Q & A session regarding the upcoming 2010/2011 rain season which begins Oct 15.

Please join us in the CV High quad for the 3rd annual CVTC-CVHS Pancake Breakfast! Enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage & time with friends & neighbors. Pancakes are unlimited. Tickets are $5 if purchased in advance or $6 at the event. 50% of advance sales go to the community group selling the ticket, including various CVHS teams & organizations. CVHS is at 2900 Community Ave, La Crescenta 91214.
