Everyone responsible for a roof- at work or at home- needs to do four simple things before winter.
Think C.O.L.D.
Clean roof and gutters or drains otherwise ice will wreak havoc and can make your life hell. Ice damming is hell!
Observe conditions like damage to flashing or missing shingles.
Look for leaks inside and out. Look for water marks on walls and ceilings.
Document what you find. Take a picture or two. Take some notes.
