• A flat roof is just a flat roof...that is until you have to look at it every day.  On a recent project in Troy, Michigan we installed the Duro-Last® Rock-Ply(TM) roof membrane.  This roof membrane was recommended mainly because - for a commercial flat roof - it really looks nice.  It is ideal for roofing applications where building appearance is important but the weight of conventional ballast is not practical or necessary (over 10# per square foot additional dead load).

• Since several stories of office suites overlook this 20,000 SF portion of the building, aesthetics were of paramount importance when it came to selecting a roof membrane for this facility.

• The Rock pattern is printed onto the membrane, then a special polymer coating is applied to help protect the finish from marring, fading, and dirt accumulation.

• The roof system was custom fabricated per our measurements in a Duro-Last facility in Saginaw, MI.  The resulting membrane has relatively few field seams.  The materials are delivered to the job site and installed by our field technicians to provide a durable thermo-plastic single ply roof system with a 15 year warranty.
