It is immensely gratifying to me when I see our members riding with that smooth efficient pedal stroke that we teach in eCycling. Especially when I think back to what it looked like when they started months or even years earlier. An efficient pedal stroke is hugely important and all too often (outside of eCycling) overlooked or ignored. I encourage everyone to continue to work on your pedaling mechanics indoors and out. Focus on dynamic, rhythmic movement of the legs, from their origin in the hip flexor complex. Want to see if your hard work has paid dividends? Our bike fitters are happy to set you up with a 45 minute pedal stroke analysis appointment so that you can get real time visual feedback on your improved mechanics any time.  A little extra effort now will certainly pay off down the road.

Results and Thank You!

Thank you to all the women who made Sunday's 2nd Annual Women's Event such a huge success. 40 women showed up for a 75 minute eCycling class followed by Pilates, bagels and mimosas. A great time was had by all!

Congratulations to John Hilvert for an incredible result at the TBF mountain bike race last weekend. John was 1st in his age group and the 6th amateur finisher overall! Way to go John, keep up the great work in class.

A big congratulations goes out to eCycling members Frank Gerber, Ryan Goldman, and John Kunzweiler for strong performances at the Tour of California Solvang time trial. These guys raced against some of the best in the world and made us proud. Extra kudos goes to Frank Gerber for beating his 2008 time by 4 minutes!
Train smart and have a great week.
