 Greetings!
Fall is upon us and the sailfish will soon be here! We have had a pretty impressive fishing year so far. Tuna & marlin fishing at the "Corner" this spring was fantastic.
A big secret this year in finding the Tunas has not been the "Bird Radar" it has been Sirius Satellite Weather with it's sea surface temperature graphical display. Offshore temperature breaks can be clearly seen and entered as a waypoint. Use your autopilot and go right to the fish!
Furuno, Northstar, and Raymarine all have chartplotters that will interface with the Sirius Satellite Weather. Northstar provides the best presentation and easiest use of the Sirius Weather Products.
Furuno's NavNet 3D with the latest 2.02 software is pretty impressive as well. ( If you have a NavNet 3D system make sure you have your software upgraed to 2.02, it is a major upgrade and was just released) Click Here for More Info. |

just south of the power plant in Fort Pierce. The ray has a wingspan of approximately 8' and the largest cobia in the neighborhood of 60lbs. The photograph was taken from a helicopter from an altitude of 200 feet.

Helicopter as Service Vehicle
We have just added a Robinson R44 Clipper ll
to our service fleet. This is a four place helicopter with a 300 NM range at 110 knots. The ship is equipped with "Pop-Out" floats for safe flight over water.  Long Range WiFi
Wave WiFi systems can be installed aboard your vessel
to provide very long range access to wireless hotspots.
Ranges of up to 12 miles from a strong hotspot can be achieved. On a recent trip to the Abacos aboard the "TrixSea" we were able to connect to Spanish Cay's internet hotspot from 8 miles.
The Wave WiFi systems are very robust and were engineered from ground up for the harsh service in the marine environment.
