August 10th - Phil Wallace -Kiewit/General

On February 12th, officials celebrated the groundbreaking for the construction project that will bring jobs to the community and help replace the vulnerable State Route 520 floating bridge. Construction has since begun on the casting basin. Phil Wallace, Managing Director of the SR 520 Pontoon Construction will give us an update on the project. 

August 17th- Jean Roberts
Jean Roberts will tell us all about the Polio Plus team made up of about 60 Rotarians from all over, but mainly from NW Washington.  Ralph Munro, our former Secretary of State, is going. They will be visit hospitals, a polio rehab center for children, schools, water well sites, orphanages and other sites where there have been Rotary projects in Ethiopia.  They will be based in Addis Ababa for the first eight or nine days, and then will go in groups to villages where they'll  administer polio vaccine.

Hawks Prairie 10 Year Anniversary Party


Greetings!    

The Hawks Prairie Rotary Club is 10 years old and we are having a gala party to celebrate! Please extend our invitation to your club members. The attached PDF is a copy of the invitation.  Invitation Info Link  


The party is August 27 at the upper clubhouse starting at 5:30. The buffet dinner will include Salmon, Chicken Parmesan, Vegetable, Dessert and Appetizers. Some beautiful Wedgwood will be offered for the raffle and auction. Chris Ward will be providing the entertainment.     

We hope that you will join us and help us celebrate!
