July 27th Meeting - The 7th Street Kids
Micki Col well dreamed of a program where children could experience and perform the magic of live musical productions in the majestic 7th Street Theatre. That dream came true in 1992 with a grant from the Bishop Foundation. In the summer of that year, under Micki's leadership and with direction from Hank Bilderback, Pat Wilhelms and Gayle Russell, the group that would become 7th Street Kids presented its first production, The
Wizard of Oz.
This summer, 7th Street Kids will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. To commemorate that first performance, the Kids will again present The Wizard of Oz. |
