Hop on for a Carriage Ride!

 Every Friday in July and August, 5-9 P.M. 

Be sure to experience an evening of fun and tradition with a horse-drawn carriage ride through Downtown Spokane this summer. The Downtown Business Improvement District and STCU have partnered to provide the summer Horse and Carriage Rides since 2001.

Rides began July 6 and operate each Friday through the end of August, 5-9pm. The carriage leaves from the corner of Main and Wall and are FREE! No reservations are required for this eveing event. Rides are first come, first serve.

Each guest will receive a complimentary flower from Peters and Sons Floral as they enjoy the summer sights of Downtown Spokane and the clip-clop of the horse hooves as they tour Downtown in style.

Downtown Scholarship Car Show 

Date: July 19, 2012 at 6:00 P.M.

 

Where: Riverside Avenue in Downtown Spokane

 

Admission: Minimum of $10 donation 

 

The Inland Northwest Car Club Council (INCCC) is hosting its annual Downtown Scholarship Car Show in Spokane at 6-10 P.M. on Riverside Avenue from Lincoln to Stevens Streets and Post, Wall and Howard Streets from Sprague to Main Avenues will be closed from 5-10:30 P.M. If you are interested in hot rods, customs and classic cars, this is the event for you!

 

Admission for the car show is a $10 minimum donation, and a majority of the proceeds go to scholarships for the upcoming year.

34th Annual Royal Fireworks Festival and Concert

Come celebrate the 34th annual Royal Fireworks and Concert in Riverfront Park on July 29th for free! This is an exciting opportunity to see the Baroque Ballet and Allegro's 60-piece Royal Band perform on the floating stage, while live choreographed fireworks fill the sky to the symphony sounds. 

The Baroque Ballet kicks off the event at 7:00 P.M. and Allegro's Royal Band finishes off the night at 9:00 P.M. Those who interested in experiencing the fireworks and concert while being catered to on a separate patio, have the opportunity to purchase tickets here.
