| Downtown Services are Evolving |
Downtown Spokane is evolving and the DSP continues to adapt to the city center's changing needs, including adjusting the deployment and responsibilities of the Security Ambassadors, Clean Team, and other staff. Downtown safety always remains a top priority, but there are also increased needs for direct communication with Downtown businesses, hospitality, beautification, clean and green management. As the seasons change and the DSP evaluates the shifting needs, the Security Ambassadors will continue to make their rounds in the BID at new hours. You can always contact the Security Ambassadors Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30am-7:30pm at 509.353.9111. Security Ambassadors, distinctively dressed in rust uniforms, are trained to serve your business with employee or customer escorts to their car, providing directions, assistance with street disturbances, shoplifting, and more. Three of the full-time Security Ambassadors are even Spokane Regional Certified Tourism Ambassadors to round out your customer needs. To report graffiti or other cleaning needs to the Clean Team, please call 509. 353.9111 or 509.456.0580. |
