Harris Hall Rewrites History at Northwestern University
Home of the History department and general-use classrooms, Harris Hall on Northwestern University's Evanston campus has recently reopened after a two-year renovation. By applying innovative technologies to this historic building, Primera enabled Northwestern University to enjoy the conveniences of a modern, energy-efficient building while working within challenging physical constraints.

Getting the Coconut: Get Current with the Natural Gas Energy Efficiency Incentives

In continuation from our May 2011 article entitled, "Getting the Coconut: Get Ready for Natural Gas Energy Efficiency Incentives," we now have additional details available regarding these incentives. In June of this year, the Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard (EEPS) world significantly expanded to include natural gas consumption savings. For a heating-driven climate, such as Northern-Illinois, these natural gas incentive opportunities will provide commercial building owners with many options to convert economically-unfavorable heating Energy Cost Reducing Measures (ECRMs) into profitable and beneficial energy savings projects.

Primera Promotes Energy Incentives at Recent Events
Primera was a lead sponsor at the Energy Efficiency Expo, which took place on September 7, 2011. This annual event organized by ComEd provides a setting for businesses to gather and share cost-effective solutions for implementing energy efficiency projects. Primera Energy Manager, Josh Greenfield also participated in the U.S. Green Building Council's panel session, "Going Green and Paying For it: Green Tools for Municipalities," on October 19, 2011.
