It's no secret that every project delivery method presents advantages and pitfalls. Engineers, architects and owners are well-rehearsed in the considerations. And for those who aren't familiar, Google or Bing can give you the script. But if the design team steps away from the script and thinks about project delivery in real terms, the team undoubtedly experiences a few cringes when the Owner chooses the "right" delivery method for an actual project. Let's face it: nothing is perfect.

"Primerans" take on the Chase Corporate Challenge 
The Windy City's weather lived up to its reputation on the evening of May 26. As a team of thirty suited up in athletic gear to transform themselves into Primerans - Primera employees who are ready to run - many added an extra layer or two to brave the 48-degree temperature and 30 mph winds rolling off Lake Michigan.

Rebuilding Education in Haiti
Eighteen months ago, Haiti suffered a massive earthquake that ravaged Port au Prince and surrounding areas. Rebuilding efforts are underway but progress has been slow and most efforts to help Haiti are no longer headline news. Erin Inman, Chief Marketing Officer and Manager of Primera's Power Delivery division, recently visited Plik, a small village on the far outskirts of the country's capital. Erin recently sat down and discussed her observations on rebuilding schools and the landscape of education in Haiti.
