I ran into a spot of bother when it came to speaking with prospective new-car buyers about Honda's current Limited Edition CRV offer.
You see one of the BIG attractions of this LIMITED EDITION is the inclusion of a Bluetooth phone system.

Until now I probably would have bluffed my way through any conversations around Bluetooth - knowing just enough to realise it ain't a fancy kind of toothpaste.
If you've been a reader of this newsletter for a while, you'll know in these situations, Google is my friend.
Here's what I discovered:
Bluetooth is a form of wireless technology that allows two devices (like a phone, laptop, mouse, keyboard, printer, digital camera, hands-free kit) to connect and share information. No cables!
And according to Wikipedia, it's called Bluetooth after a 10th Century king of Denmark called Harald Bluetooth.
Apparently Herald engaged in diplomacy which led warring parties to negotiate with eachother.
So back to our Limited Edition CRV. For just $500 more than the base model, it comes with:
Bluetooth phone system - as long as your mobile is in the car, you can take calls while keeping your eyes on the road. (Ahhhhh-haaa! The mobile and the car phone system communicate via this Bluetooth technology.)
- 17" alloy wheels
- Rear park assist
- Tailored floor mats
- Cool Limited Edition badge
