According to the Sunday Times, Police Minister Rob Johnson is looking into privatising WA's speed camera operations.
Course this has sparked some worry that profiteering might overtake road safety concerns.
Sounds like there's just a lot of talk going on at the moment but as we all know, where there's smoke, there is often fire.

Work is on track for the introduction of new child restraint laws in WA early next year.
You might recall me mentioning before, the Federal Government approved a bunch of ammendments to national seatbelt rules back in January.
Now the States are being asked to follow suit.
For it's part WA started drafting its ammendments to local laws a couple of months ago.
