| Tools for School Event The Salvation Army needs volunteers to help with their annual Tools for Schools event on the morning of August 14th. Volunteer will assist with many different aspects of this event.
Yard
Sale...with some extra help! The Volunteer Center is trying to find volunteers to assist an elderly and
handicapped individual with cleaning
a garage, organizing for a garage sale and help hosting the sale. Schedule is flexible and will be worked out
with the volunteer. This individual would like to have the
sale around or before August.
Volunteer Call-out! Serenity Hospice is seeking future volunteers! They will be holding a call-out/training on Tuesday, July 27 from 9:30 am- 11:30 am (with refreshments). To learn more about becoming a hospice volunteer, please attend this event!
Work It & Read It!
Westminster Village is currently seeking a volunteer to
lead chair exercises on a weekly basis for residents. This volunteer should be wanting to work with senior adults and have an interest in fitness. Training will provide the proper equipment and exercise procedures. They are also seeking a volunteer to lead a small book club with residents. Volunteers will help lead discussions. Meetings will take place the last Friday of each month at 1 p.m.
Hands on Trucks Event Imagination Station is looking for volunteers to help with their annual Hands on Trucks event on August 28th from 10 am- 4 pm. Volunteers are needed to set-up, tear-down, work the gates, slime table, traffic control, face painting, coloring area or be the event photographer.
Clarian Arnett Hospice Volunteers are needed at the Clarian Arnett Hospice. Volunteers can help with direct or in-direct patient care. You can be the blessing they need.
Prune those Trees! Tree Lafayette is seeking volunteers to help pruning trees on July 21st starting at 8 a.m. Volunteers will will be asked to bring their own supplies as they are limited.
Animals are everywhere! Wildcat Wildlife Center is seeking volunteers who can give
4 hours a week to help with the following: baby feeding, animal care,
maintenance, cage building, clerical & data work, rescue, phones or grant

King or Queen of the Web? The Diversity Roundtable is looking for a volunteer webmaster for their website. This volunteer will be in charge of updating the website and posting all new information. This group meets the first Thursday of every month.

Gifts...Oh, how we all love gifts! The Senior Center is looking for volunteers to help man the Gift Shop. Volunteers are needed Mondays- Fridays between 9 am- 3 pm. Shifts can vary. These volunteer spots need to be filled ASAP.
Varooooommmmmmm... Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers, 18 years of age or older, to help deliver nutritious meals to their clients. Delivery starts at 10:30 am from Monday to Friday.
Repackaging Food Finders needs
volunteers to collect fresh food from the Farmers Market. Volunteers will be sitting a the Food Finders table to collect donations then transport the donated items to. Shifts are from 12 pm- 1pm from Now-October 2nd. This will help double the amount of fresh produce that Food Finders has.
