Sale...with some extra help! The Volunteer Center is trying to find volunteers to assist an elderly and
handicapped individual with cleaning
a garage, organizing for a garage sale and help hosting the sale. Schedule is flexible and will be worked out
with the volunteer. This individual would like to have the
sale around or before August.
Tear it down! The West Lafayette Neighborhood Resource Team is looking for volunteers to help demolish or rebuild a small garage in the area. The client is a breast cancer survivor and lives alone, she would need some strong volunteers to help accomplish this task.
Now that's music to my ears! Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering needs volunteers during their Annual Fiddlers Gathering event during June 25 - 27, 2010
in Battle Ground. Volunteers are needed to help setup and tear down,
man the gate, and sell CD's and T-shirts. Two (2) free passes are given
for every 4 hour shift.
Run (or Walk) as fast as you can.... Friends of Columbian Park Zoo are in need of volunteers
to help out with our Zoo Run Run (5K run/walk) on Saturday, July 17th.
The volunteers will be asked to help direct runners along the course, assist
with water stations and hand out materials at the registration tables.
Volunteers will be needed from 7:30 am and should be able to leave by 11:00.
Volunteers must pre-register and will receive a t-shirt and a pancake
breakfast.
Lend your caring heart St. Elizabeth Hospice is holding a volunteer training class on July 15th. If you are wanting to learn more about volunteering at a hospice, a great way to find out more, is by attending this class to see if it's a good fit for you.
Handy person needed! The Volunteer Center is searching for a volunteer to help with general home repairs.
Hello, how can I help you? Lafayette Urban Ministry is looking for a volunteer to serve as their front desk receptionist. The shift is from 12:45 pm- 4:30 pm. on Tuesdays & Thursdays from June until August. This volunteer will greet clients and answer phone calls.
Snack time! Historic Prophetstown is looking for volunteers to help with the concession stand on weekends. This is a great opportunity for volunteers to meet new people and enjoy the farm atmosphere.
Varooooommmmmmm... Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers, 18 years of age or older, to help deliver nutritious meals to their clients. Delivery starts at 10:30 am from Monday to Friday.
Repackaging Food Finders needs
volunteers to collect fresh food from the Farmers Market. Volunteers will be sitting a the Food Finders table to collect donations then transport the donated items to. Shifts are from 12 pm- 1pm from June 19th-October 2nd. This will help double the amount of fresh produce that Food Finders has.
Food Pantry Help The Community & Family Resource Center (CFRC) is seeking a volunteer to help run the food pantry from 12:30pm until 2:30pm at the South Side Community Center.
