FVT heads to the Progressive Automotive X Prize

FVT passed the third submission for the X Prize competition and is heading for Michigan International Speedway (MIS). The first stage of the competition is "The Shakedown" and consists of safety, stability and emissions testing. Of the 111 teams initially registered for the competition the race is  down to 28 teams. There are 6 other vehicles in FVT's category vying for $2.5 million in prize money. FVT in the media spotlight


 FVT recently attended the "Globe 2010" conference in Vancouver and as usual was the center of attention. There were several media highlights on the eVaro including:

What's next?


Once we have passed the shakedown, we will be spending the next month fine tuning the eVaro  before the "knockout" stage in June. We will be having a BBQ  in May and will let everyone know when we have a date set.

 
If you are wondering what the new eVaro looks like, we will be sending out photos soon. Look for a new canopy design, new hood design, and a host of other changes.
