Sunday, July 24 --- Friday, July 29, 2011 Registration You will be receiving a formal invitation through email by the end of this month. If you know of any BRI members who do not have access to e-mail or if your e-mail address has changed recently, please send this info to me at mjmtpa@verizon.net or contact Kevin Middleton at webmaster@blueridgeinstitute.net. I am very happy to announce that you will be able to register on-line and pay by credit card. Of course, you may also register through the mail and pay by check if you prefer.
Housing & Meal Arrangements at Fall Creek Falls State Park (www.state.tn.us/environment/parks/FallCreekFalls) The accommodations at the State Park include hotel rooms, cabins and villas. Fall Creek Falls has set aside a number of rooms for our Blue Ridge Institute. Attendees at the 2011 Institute are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible. Rates for available accommodations will be quoted at the time of your reservation. BRI members 62 and older are entitled to a 10% discount on room rates. (Bring your nonprofit tax ID certificate for reduction on certain sales taxes.) Fall Creek Falls has RV/camping sites available. Please contact the State Park for details and rates.
Make all housing arrangements by calling Fall Creek Falls State Park directly: 1-800-250-8610 or 423-881-5241. Reservations are open 24/7. MEALS at Fall Creek Falls are available in the Inn Dining Room. They are served buffet-style or can be ordered from the menu. Attendees are charged by the meal and can either pay immediately or accumulate meal costs on their room tab. (Gratuities are not included with the meal.) A unique aspect of BRI, however, is that most afternoons and evenings are set aside for informal networking through a diverse schedule of Activities, and for time to spend with your family. For most of us, this blending of "work and play" has led to exciting idea exchanges, as well as long lasting friendships that pull us back every year. 2011 Children's Program The Summer Youth Leadership Academy of Blue Ridge Institute is open to any child/teenager of a registered BRI participant.
