Kentucky's 2011 legislative session begins
Kentucky's short, 30-day 2011 "organizational" legislative session began today. A number of pre-filed bills fall in UWKY's arena of interest and we are watching them closely for further development. Review the full list here.
Today, the Courier-Journal released an editorial by Louisville attorney, John David Dyche, addressing the importance of one of these bills, HB 88, the "Healthy Goals for School Children" Act, pre-filed by Rep. Addia Wuchner (R-66). Read the full article here.

You can also write any legislator by sending a letter with the lawmaker's name to: Capitol Annex, 702 Capitol Avenue, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
