 LIVE UNITED & GET FIT! United Way of Paducah-McCracken County is holding its annual "5K Run and Fitness Walk"
Since 1994, United Way 5K Run and Fitness Walk
has been an annual event for over 500 runners, walkers and volunteers
from as far away as Florida. This is a fun event for families and community groups to promote health and
fitness. The race offers children ages 12 and under the chance to
participate in the Rehab Associates 1-Mile Youth Run.
The event will take place on
Saturday, September 25, with registration tables opening at 7:30 AM at the Paducah Bank Main Parking Lot at 555 Jefferson Street. The run begins at 9:00 AM. Click here to view the race map.

 Metro United Way kicks off its 2010
Community Campaign with its first annual WALK UNITED!
Bring your family,
friends, and co-workers out to kick off the Metro United Way 2010
Community Campaign! Help us celebrate and show your support by
becoming part of the FIRST annual WALK UNITED!
Why: Metro United Way supports
150 programs and almost 90 agencies that assist people who need help
today. We also work to create and support long-term solutions. By
focusing on the areas of EDUCATION, INCOME and HEALTH, we're building a
brighter future for us all! All WALK UNITED proceeds support your Metro
United Way.
When: Saturday, August 28, 2010.
Same-day registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Kickoff Celebration begins at
8:30 a.m. Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
