RE: Memorials & Honorariums
As you all know, two of our beloved BRI members, Henry Zimmer and Joe Medlin, passed away this year.
Joe Tolan, BRI President, had a BRI Conference Planning Committee conference call yesterday, and we decided we should remind all members that memorial gifts can be made to the BRI Development Fund. This would be a good way to honor the memory of Henry and Joe.
You can also honor BRI members who have made an impact on your life, helped you and others in some special way, or because you just plain old like 'em and want 'em to know it !!!
With the downturn in the economy over the past several years, our development fund has decreased, but the need for scholarships and strong program speakers continues.
Thank you for sending your contribution to our Treasurer, Terry Tolan, today, or give it to me when you are at BRI in Tennessee in July.
