Dear Blue Ridge Members,

I'm afraid I we have sad news to share with you.  Longtime BRI member and past President Joe Medlin died on Monday morning after battling cancer.  Joe had e-mailed us several months ago and said how much he hoped to be able to be with us this year, so we are especially sad that we won't see him in July.

Joe will be buried at Crawford Memorial Gardens in Clyde, NC on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11 a.m.  If you would like to send a card to his family, you may send it to:
