Reiki Share
We will offer our next Reiki Share on Sunday, April 11th from 2-4 pm. This will be an opportunity for students and practitioners to gather to renew your skills and practice your healing work. We will offer reju to those present, which is a "power boost" for your previous attunement and also an opportunity for those who are new to Reiki to join in the healing circle. We will share our healing energies in a circle to each of us and also provide distance healing to those in need who are unable to join us. Ancient Techniques to De-Stress in the Modern World
Bill and Mary Lynn have taught this class to many different audiences including seniors in a nursing home, volunteers for the County, volunteer coordinators, Girl Scouts and their leaders, as well as underprivileged youth. This popular class offers a sampling of techniques to assist you in learning about many ways to de-stress from your daily life. These ancient techniques come from many parts of the world. See which ones are right for you. This class is 2 hours long and will be held at the Ethel Hart Senior Center, 915 27th Street, in mid-town Sacramento, on June 11th from 9 am to 11 am. Energy Medicine in the United States
A recent article by Dr. Karl Maret details the historical roots and the current status of energy medicine in the United States. This comprehensive article details many of the early researchers and includes many forms of energy medicine. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) houses a sub specialty which is the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
