Planting Leader Training and Refresher 

Canopy will plant 10 trees at EPAPA  

 

East Palo Alto Phoenix Academy (map)

9:00 to 11:00 AM: Planting Leader Training

 

Trees planted by Canopy have an exceptional rate of establishment and survival as a result of our rigorous planting protocols.  Come learn our technique and share your planting insights.   

 

This training will double as the preparation for a large planting event one-week later at the same site: October 15, 2011, at EPAPA school.

To support the Grand Opening of East Palo Alto Phoenix Academy's new campus, Canopy will plant 81 shade trees to grow alongside the school for decades into the  future.   

 

We need your help to plant these trees on October 15th.  Please join us as we completely transform the EPA Phoenix Academy campus!

Neighborhood Tree Planting

Barron Park Neighborhood 

8:00 to 9:00 AM - Planting Leaders Arrive and Prepare

9:00PM to 12:00 PM - Planting Volunteers Join and Support  

 

Together, the Barron Park Residents and Neighborhood Green Team, The City of Palo Alto and Canopy, are working with residents to line the streets in the Barron Park neighborhood with new trees. The resulting healthy, green canopy will benefit our air, and our quality of life.

Veterans Day Tree Planting

9:00AM to 12:00 PM - Planting Volunteers Join 

      

This is a very inspiring and highly impactful planting project.  We have a few Planting Leader spots available. Planting trees is a way to remember the past, build hope for the future, and improve the overall environment for recovering Veterans. Last year, Veterans joined Canopy volunteers to plant 11 trees.
