Event Overview: 

In the Grand Ballroom of the new Palo Alto Elks Lodge, Canopy Louv will offer an inspiring and moving lecture-dinner to Canopy's most dedicated partners and supporters.

• VIP-Sponsors will meet Richard Louv at a VIP reception at 5:30 PM and receive a signed book
  (a pre-publication exclusive)
• State Senator Joe Simitian will
  emcee the event
• Palo Alto Mayor Sid Espinosa will introduce Richard Louv 
• Richard Louv will deliver his lecture, unveil The Nature Principle,
  and welcome questions 
• Singer Nancy Cassidy and children
  from East Palo Alto schools will sing
  for the trees  

Event Impact:      
Canopy is pledging to plant 1,000 schoolyard shade and fruit trees through our new initiative:  Healthy Trees, Healthy Kids!  

By attending or supporting our dinner, you will help us plant trees to create healthier environments at schools, foster community renewal, and empower youth through jobs and education.
