Can you help with children's art classes at Sulzbacher?
St. John's homelessness task force runs a number of enriching programs for the homeless who live at the Sulzbacher Center. One program, under the direction of Edie Moore-Hubert, provides art and music programs for residents of the shelter. Edie needs volunteers to help, specifically with children's art projects. If you are able to help in this remarkable ministry, please contact her.
Sulzbacher team also needs volunteers to serve meals
St. John's Cathedral continues to supply the Sulzbacher Center with dinner on the first Monday of every month through financial and volunteer support. Over the past several months, our volunteer numbers have declined significantly both for cooking and for serving the meal so we have had to rely on the workers at Sulzbacher to help with cooking and serving. Please prayerfully consider volunteering in this much needed ministry in the new year. Our next volunteer day is this Monday, Jan. 3. To help on Monday, come to Sulzbacher at 2:30 p.m. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. No clean-up duty involved! For more information, please contact Don or Beth Wucker at 398-4776 or 703-9543.
