PCM Proudly Announces a NEW Program!
Take Private Music Lesson In YOUR home!
The Phoenix Conservatory of Music proudly announces that due to popular demand will start offering private music lessons in your home!
 

PCM has been asked several times over the years to have Private Music Lessons in a person's home.  We are now able to fill that service.
 
Private Music Lessons in your home will be just like having a music lesson at the PCM Facility on I-17 and Northern, just without the drive!!
 
There are a few added pieces to make sure that we can best serve you!  Lessons will still be offered in Guitar, Voice, Piano, Violin, Clarinet, and Saxophone.  If you are a private in home student, all of the policies in the Student Handbook still apply to you plus we have a few more:
  • Private In Home Lesson Students sign a liability waiver
  • Parents/Caregivers of minor students are expected to be on site at all times during the lesson.  At no time is it permissible for a guardian to be offsite during lesson times.
  • Any pets must be contained.
  • Payments are made directly to PCM.  PCM Instructors cannot accept payment.
  • Fees will apply unless lessons are cancelled on week in advance.
  • PCM teachers have a strict door to door policy. 
  • There must be an OPEN teaching space provided with the appropriate atmosphere.  Family Rooms, Dens, or Front rooms are acceptable.  No closed doors, no radio, television, video games or other general interruptions during the lesson.
  • Parents/Guardians of minor students are required to sign off on the lesson.
     
     
Rates for In Home Lessons:
 
In Home Hour Lessons
  • Pay per lesson (first and last lesson up front) $55.00 per hour.
  • Pay for four lessons at a time: $50.00 per hour ($200.00)
  • Pay for eight lessons at a time:
    $48.00 per hour ($384.00)

In Home 45 Minute Lessons

  • Pay per lesson (first and last lesson up front)
    $43.00 per 45 minutes
  • Pay for four lessons at a time:
    $40.00 per 45 minutes ($160.00)
  • Pay for eight lessons at a time:
    $38.00 per 45 minutes ($304.00)

In Home 30 Minute Lessons

  • Pay per lesson (first and last lesson up front) $33.00 per 30 minutes
  • Pay for four lessons at a time:
    $30 per 30 minutes ($120.00)
  • Pay for eight lessons at a time:
    $28 per 30 minutes ($224.00)

For All In Home Lessons: 

There is an additional travel fee of: $10.00 per lesson if your residence is 10-15 miles beyond The Phoenix Conservatory of Music, $15.00 per lesson if your residence is 15-20 miles beyond The Phoenix Conservatory of music, and $20.00 per lesson if your residence is 20+ miles beyond The Phoenix Conservatory of Music.
