4th Annual Family Triathlon

Sixteen teams compiled of men, women and children competed together in the West Cook
YMCA's 4th Annual Family Indoor Triathlon on Sunday, February 22, 2009.
The diverse group of athletes swam for 10 minutes, biked for an
additional 20 minutes and finished the triathlon with a 15 minute run
on a treadmill.
Promoted as a fun and healthy family event, times were kept but
winners were not declared, as all shared in the joy of exercise and
camaraderie while looking forward to the 5th Family Triathlon next
February.

Cycle-A-Thon to benefit Invest In Youth

- Bikes will be set-up in the hallway on the main floor for ultimate visibility.
- Register for one-hour time slots on the bike. $15 for the 1st hour / $10 each additional hour
- Raise money for Invest in Youth
- Snacks and prizes will be provided
- Get pledges - Get donations - Get Ridin'
- Ride will be instructor-led and will include fun music, exciting games and a GREAT workout!

Join fellow YMCA Members and staff as we celebrate the 14th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Forest Park.

- Meet at the YMCA at 11:30am
- Parade Lineup begins at 12:00pm
- Parade begins at 1:00pm
