Participants will meet at the pavilion at the east end of the Stone Arch Bridge and make a circuit of the area. Architect and University of Minnesota Adjunct Professor Bob Mack '66 will discuss the history of the area, the development of the mills, and the architecture of the buildings. We will also look at 19th-century residential architecture on Nicollet Island and discuss the issues of development pressure. We will conclude with drinks at Tuggs Tavern at Saint Anthony Main.
