joins the Grinnell College Office of College and Alumni Relations and the Office of Admission in cordially inviting entering students, Grinnell alumni of all ages, current students, and faculty and staff in the area for the summer (and families of all the above) to the Grinnell in Des Moines summer picnic. See old friends, make new ones, and give a special welcome to the just-graduated class of 2009 and the entering class of 2013.

Please bring meat for grilling, a beverage, and a dish to share based on the list below.

If your last name begins with:
A-H, side dishes (finger foods, chips, cheese, crackers, etc.)
I-Q, salad
R-Z, desserts

The hosts will provide grilling supplies, plates, utensils, ice, and water.

Directions:

Walter Johnson Park is located at 9000 Douglas Avenue in Urbandale, between 86th and 100th Streets. We'll be located in the enclosed shelter. There is convenient lot parking nearby.
