We are writing to let you know that Grinnell College is forming an alumni group to ride RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa). This year's RAGBRAI will take place July 19-25, 2009. The College is working with Grinnell's local bike shop, Bikes to You, to provide charter service for our group. The charter will leave Grinnell on the morning of Saturday, July 18th, and return on the evening of Saturday, July 25th.
Please share this message with anyone you know who might be interested in riding RAGBRAI with fellow Grinnellians.
Joining alumni on the ride will be staff from College and Alumni Relations, and most likely several other faculty, staff and perhaps current students as well. We will reach out to alumni living in the overnight towns to visit the group in camp. In addition, the College will host a dinner for alumni and friends in one of the overnight towns.
