Vacation Bible School Is Coming Soon!

This year, we have the blessing of being able to offer two exciting Vacation Bible School experiences. Our Evening VBS will be Wednesday nights, May 30-June 27 (6-8 p.m.). Our Daytime VBS will be July 9-13 (9 a.m.-12 noon). We need your help to get the word out and to sign up to volunteer! From providing prayer and snacks to decorating and leading activities or groups, we have a way everyone can participate!

W.O.W. Wednesday

Hard to believe that our Wednesdays are almost over! We have a few more performances left and then our big program at the end of the year. Mark your calendars for the remaining events. 

 

April 22 - All groups sing at the end of the 8:15 and the beginning of the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services.

 

May 2 - Year-End Program in the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. (our final performance and meeting for the year).

 

I hope that you will make it one to or all of these to see our truly talented kids perform for you and share the spirit of God.

The Story

March and April we have joined in the church-wide study of The Story. The 4th and 5th graders responded well to the challenge of reading The Story. Almost 30 4th/5th graders read along!

Here are two of the delicious Earth creations that the kids made (and snacked on) while they learned about the creation stories!

NEXT Kids 
5-6 p.m. -- All ages
6:45-7:45 p.m. -- (3rd) 4th/5th Youth Group

 

NEXT Kids looked at The Art of Prayer and learned to "Never Stop Praying" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). This month we will learn about Jesus in a study called Friendship Ride. "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." (John 15:13)

 

4th/5th Grade Youth Group had its fun-filled kickoff on Sunday, April 15 with 27 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! We will continue to meet on most Sundays. This group will engage in missions in our community, play games, and have engaging Bible studies. All current 4th and 5th graders are invited to join us, along with our incoming 4th graders (current 3rd graders)! Join us for this group, and don't forget to invite a friend!
