If you ordered a new Faith in Action t-shirt, please stop by the church to pick it up before you go to your Faith in action project! (A few t-shirts in various sizes are also available for purchase by those who did not order one.)

5th Grade Nets Project Follow-Up 

 

 PDO is now open for the fall session! Children ages 6 weeks through pre-K will enjoy a day of fun at PDO. Rates vary -- see the PDO page for more info!

 

   The Prayer Shawl Ministry is expanding! In addition to the Monday, 6:30-8 p.m. meetings, you can join them Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. (childcare avaialble). Contact Pastor Ginger for more information.

 

 In order to ensure that our children's area is as secure as possible, the ground-level doors to the children's wing (on the northeast side of the church) will be locked on Sundays. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Cole.

Smithville UMC and the Smithville community will hold a Car Show on Saturday, September 17 to raise funds for tornado recovery in Joplin and in Smithville, Mississippi. This event will include food booths, arts & crafts booths, children's activities and music. Learn more ...

  • Spend Sunday morning (9 a.m.-12 noon) writing letters to military personnel and firefighters in New York City (contact Pastor Angie
  • Help pack rice meals on Saturday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. -- stop by even if you haven't registered or only have an hour to give
