Guardian Software Systems offers a Windows based integrated ERP system designed for the metalcasting industry, known as the "Guardian Foundry System". Guardian Software Systems recently announced the "Paperless Routing and Touch Screen Data Collection Module" to eliminate the need for printed process instruction documents and meet the need to manufacture in a more environmentally responsible way.

Alerts - Integrated into the "Paperless Routing and Touch Screen Data Collection Module" is a powerful real-time event driven or on demand "Alert" messaging system, allowing managers and operators to communicate during the manufacturing process. Alerts may now also be sent to Outlook to ensure that messages can be viewed by management even while offsite.
MSDS Searches - The "Paperless Routing and Touch Screen Data Collection Module" allows Material Safety Data Sheets to be maintained in one location yet providing every operator's work station with the ability to search and view the Material Data Data Sheets.
HR Functions - Employees have secure access to his or her vacation days, efficiencies, calendar or attendance directly from their workstation.
Displaying Machine Data - Guardian Software Systems is committed to working with machine vendors within the metalcasting industry, such as MPI, Inc. and their Smart Machines, to allow for the seamless exchange of data between machines and the Guardian Foundry System. As a result of this integration effort, data collected such as good and scrap pieces can be captured automatically. Machine settings can be stored as process instructions within the Guardian Foundry System and imported back to the machine for the next time that job is run again.
