Guardian Software Systems' newest module for Data Collection takes advantage of the Touch Screen technology already built-in to the MPI press, so no other hardware is required to allow for the viewing of all Process Instructions directly at the injection press, in addition to the ability to log labor-real time.  

 

Users of both systems are now able to automatically capture data collected by the press such as good and scrap pieces made, used in Guardian's Data Collection System, as well as injection press settings which can be stored in the Guardian Foundry System as process instructions and imported back to the press when the job is to be run again.
