Architects, and recently named one of Los Angeles Magazines BEST 75 Restaurants, Tanzore is the reincarnated Gaylord's Restaurant for the next
generation of tastemakers. This posh restaurant has
single handedly repositioned Indian cuisine in Southern California by
infusing the abundance of fresh California produce with traditional
Indian cooking techniques and spices.

Gautam Chaudhry
Chef Chaudhry's culinary career exemplifies the description of his new restaurant Tanzore--INDIA MODERN. Combining centuries of culinary traditions with contemporary techniques and local, seasonal ingredients, this young, forward thinking Chef has joined an elite group of Indian culinary visionaries intent upon introducing their gastronomic heritage through the compelling addition of new flavors, textures, and ingredients.
Chef Chaudhry began his training in India at the Institute of Hotel Mgmt., Lucknow. He was immediately tapped by Radisson Delhi, for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Du Rhone in Geneva then promoted to Executive Chef at the Radisson, Chennai. Chaundhry became the worldwide kitchen executive of The Great Kabob Factory, India's most successful, high-volume dining destinations.
He later joined the five star Oberoi Hotel Group of New Delhi, where he served as the Indian culinary representative at Hotel Principe de Savoi in Milan. Soon thereafter he was appointed Senior Executive for its formal dining space, Restaurant Kandahar.
With the debut of Tanzore, Chef Chaundhry is proud to offer the classic culinary traditions handed down from thousands of years of Indian cooking.
