Invitation for summer ball families to transition into ABC fall ball 2012

ABC Nation,

   I am really looking forward to our time over the next few days during the end of season team meetings. Each of the coaches will have the opportunity to share some closing thoughts for the team as well as individuals.

  The meetings will also afford us the opportunity to visit about fall baseball. Below I have provided you some data points for your review. The fall program is an invaluable time for us to continue on the path to a break out spring season. The coaches and I will be following up with personal e-mails and phone calls to touch base with you regarding your plans to participate this fall and answer any individual questions. We have begun to host fall ball meetings for new and prospective families, but we reserve roster openings for returning ABC players until we have had the opportunity to connect with each individual family regarding your fall ball plans with ABC.

  The ABC Varsity Edge program (Aug-Jan, $2000) provides 6 months of comprehensive baseball opportunities designed to help manage and assist with your baseball needs and activities from the start of school right up to the start of a break-out spring season (other shorter semester packages available).

Below are a few bullet points for your review as you consider your baseball road map for the fall:

• ABC will participate in Sunday double headers in Sept & Oct; ABC World Series in Nov, Dec and Jan
• Saturday morning field clinics and team practices
• Weekly skills development workshops (choose Mon or Tues session; Wed or Thurs session) ball players attend two indoor sessions each week
• Advance Your Craft and Mental Skills workshops

  ABC has accepted an invitation for our 2013-2014 grads to participate in collegiate showcase events in the Centex Collegiate series, Texas Showcase League and Perfect Game. 2015-2016 grads will participate in the centex varsity prep series. All games will be played in Austin and surrounding central Texas venues and college campuses.

  The ABC staff remains committed to provide innovative and productive weekly training and development workshops during the week. Three start times (5:00, 6:00 or 7:00). ABC will continue to introduce Mental Skills small group sessions during weekly training workshops. I am confident that a balanced approach between weekly physical training and mental skills development will make a significant impact.

  The game day schedule will provide "real time" game action for 6 months consisting of Sunday showcase double headers in Sept & Oct; ABC World Series games Nov & Dec; ABC instructional games in Jan.

*ABC will host a training session on Sunday afternoons for ball players participating in football. Once football season concludes, you have the opportunity to plug into our winter program Nov-Jan.
