When President Eisenhower was General Eisenhower, Supreme Allied Commander in the WWII European Theater, he was quoted as saying, "plans are nothing, but planning is everything..."

The same can be said for business plans. The actual plan you end up with may not reflect exactly what you planned to start or expand your business, because plans need to be fluid and change as the environment changes.

However, what you learn in the process of planning has great value. Clients who go through the process of putting together a business plan often say, "I have learned so much about my business." The research and analysis process they conduct gives them tremendous insight into their business.

Let a SBDC business advisor assist you with your business plan and attend our business plan seminars. Both are free and you will quickly see benefit of learning how to plan for your business success.
