Join us for two free film screenings on Friday May 13th 3:30pm & 8pm at 134 Golden Gate Ave Suite A! Many of you watched Mona Caron paint her epic mural at the corner of Golden Gate and Jones Street. Some of you may have noticed a camerawoman following her every move. Paige Bierma's short documentary, A Brush With The Tenderloin, will be featured in a special free public screening at the North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District offices located at 134 Golden Gate Ave, Suite A on May 13th.The 22-minute film chronicles the making of the Windows Into The Tenderloin mural and everything that happens during the year it took to create. Dozens of neighborhood residents-including Indian Joe, Lisa Demb, and Deitra Crane-are prominently featured in the movie. Q & A session following each screening.
