Elaine Zamora retires after years of service
After many years of de voted service, Elaine Zamora has retired from her position as District Manager of the North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District. Elaine envisioned a cleaner safer neighborhood, and worked tirelessly to form the North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District. Her work to establish our organization has brought marked change to the Tenderloin neighborhood, and sets us on track to keep the improvements coming for many years to follow.
Some projects she spearheaded include: a beautiful mural at Golden Gate and Jones Street, street banners highlighting the positive attributes of the Tenderloin neighborhood, outdoor concert series at Boeddeker Park and 83 McAllister, WONDERLAND: a public art exhibition, and installation of 8 public benches.
Elaine will continue to serve on our Board of Directors and DISI committee.
I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve as Interim Executive Director during our search for a permanent Director. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any needs or concerns.
All the best, Dina Hilliard Interim Executive Director North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District
