A complete Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Proposals (RFP) number is W911S8-12-R-00019.
• Sources Sought: Design/Build Construction Contract - Structural upgrades, demolition of existing buildings and various energy improvements at NBK Bremerton. (This is a market research tool to determine number of  8(a), HUBZONE, SDVOSB and/or small business sources.

> Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) have been replaced by a new system called System for Award Management (SAM), managed by the General Services Administration (GSA). With SAM, one user ID and password will provide access to all the capabilities associated with:

• representing/self-certifying as a small business
• viewing business opportunities

> Seattle Public Utilities hosting Business Opportunities Event on August 22nd at Seattle City Hall (600 4th Avenue - Bertha Knight Landes Room).  Agenda includes:

>  NIST MEP will be participating in a series of Intellectual Property Webinars hosted by The National Council for Entrepreneurial Technology Transfer (NCET2). • SBIR/STTR Provisions -- To implement the provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 affecting the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs, the Small Business Administration (SBA) issued and listed SBIR and STTR Policy Directives in the "Public Inspection Section" of the Federal Register.
