  • Port of Tacoma
    • 1702 Port of Tacoma Road and 1721 & 1451 Thorne Road Deconstruction: The work required for this project includes the deconstruction of the building structures and associated foundations and other built environments. HAZWOPER trained personnel are required for work on these sites. NOTE: Pre-bid meeting 10 a.m. on March 3, 2011.
    • Strategic Planning Services: Plan and facilitate the strategic planning process that will result in a plan of action to achieve long-term vision and goals. 
    • You can join the Port of Tacoma's subscription list for newly posted bid requests. 
  • Sources Sought -- Explosives Handling Wharf Security Force Facility (EHW SFF) at Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, WA. A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested HUBZONE small business concerns to set this future project aside for them.
  • NOANET Audit Services NTIA BTOP Round 1 Grant to be performed in accordance with the requirements of the NTIA -- The audit will cover the fiscal years ending December 31, 2009 and 2010. The audit report will be due by June 1, 2011. Proposals are due to NoaNet by March 1, 2011. Price will not be the sole determining factor on the award of the bid. 
  • Pierce County Public Works and Utilities, Solid Waste Division, is interested in developing Best Management Practices for residential and commercial food waste management. Consistent with direction given under the Tacoma-Pierce County Solid Waste Management Plan and the 2008 Solid Waste Management Plan Supplement, Pierce County may implement a food waste management system based on Best Management Practices developed by, and for, Pierce County Stakeholders.

Alliance NW Conference - March 10, 2011

Opportunities for this small business and trade show is led by the WA State PTAC (Procurement Technical Assistance Center) with the support of federal agencies and state offices. This event is a partnership to provide businesses with a single day of networking and procurement training opportunities.

Mr. Sean Crean, Director for the Department of the Navy's Office of Small Business Program is speaking at the event.  Other speakers include NUWC Keyport's Mr. Steve Osburn on the topic of NUWC Keyport and how his department tackles supply support.
