A reminder: The State of South Carolina is
scheduled to execute Mr. William Downs, Jr., this
Friday, July 14.
Thursday, July 13, 7:00 p.m: In Columbia,
there will be a prayer vigil at the St. Thomas More
Center on the USC campus. This will be followed by a
candlelight vigil at the Governor's mansion.
Friday, July 14: In Columbia we will gather
between 4:30-5:00 at the Department of Corrections
(4444 Broad River Road) to protest the execution,
which is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
Friday, July 14: In Conway, we will gather at
5:00
p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 1071 Academy
Drive.
