Aidmatrix recently announced that it is partnering with the Microsoft's Citizenship team to enhance disaster relief management. The partnership will focus on further development of the Microsoft Windows Azure Disaster Response technologies and programs that facilitate communications between responders and the public during disasters.

Aidmatrix Expands to the Microsoft Windows Azure Cloud
Aidmatrix also recently announced that it will be using Microsoft Windows Azure to enhance disaster relief management. Aidmatrix will be transitioning many of its key business processes and applications to the Azure cloud infrastructure to achieve on-demand scalability, greater resiliency, and cost savings. The requirements of disaster response include on-demand scalability to support relief partners on the ground.

U.S. Chamber reports on Microsoft / Aidmatrix Partnership
Microsoft and its Citizenship team last week unveiled a new nonprofit alliance to enhance disaster relief management. The partnership with the Aidmatrix Foundation, a supply chain management humanitarian organization, is part of Microsoft's efforts to support disaster response organizations through the use of information and communications technology. As part of the partnership, Aidmatrix Foundation will use a variety of Windows Azure and Bing Maps-based technologies to provide dynamic maps, social media information, photos and video content.

Aidmatrix COO Keith Thode had the privilege of being on-site, discussing with the Long Term Recovery teams, Joplin City Management, Recover Joplin and others how the residents affected can be served even more quickly and effectively around the 1-year anniversary of the tornado that ripped through Joplin, MO. Aidmatrix will be helping the many volunteers and those working for the government and recovery organizations in their efforts to quantify remaining needs and then have our broader national community come together and complete the formal efforts in supporting those still displaced and otherwise impacted by last year's tragedy.

According to the September 2011 U.S. Department of Agriculture's Report on "Household Food Security in the United States in 2010," nearly 49 million Americans are "food insecure" - meaning that they struggle with the problems caused by not having a sufficient amount of food on a daily basis. Hunger relief organizations across the United States provided 3.3 billion pounds of food last year to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, according to the 2011 Annual Report of Feeding America, the largest U.S. food banking network.

Aidmatrix Annual Report 2011
2011 was full of advances in humanitarian relief processing and delivery. Working with our community partners, we further refined the longer-term future requirements for our entire Supply Chain Management (SCM) suite. We partnered with some of our major technology supporters, like Microsoft, Accenture and Avanade, to make strategic investments in our technology infrastructure and delivery mechanisms, thus enabling us to further reduce operational costs and increase agility in responding to disasters in the most remote corners of the world. This included expanding our use of mobile technologies and embarking on multi-year deployment efforts.

Jeffrey F. BergJeffrey Berg is retired Chief Operating Officer & Director Emeritus, PRTM Management Consultants (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). In nearly twenty five years with PRTM, Mr. Berg was responsible for leading hundreds of projects focused on the strategic definition and operational implementation of business processes for technology-based companies. Trent Humphries Mr. Humphries is owner of Strategic Introductions and director of Catapult Partners, a private equity group in Dallas. Having spent 35 years developing the Southwest territory for over 40 companies as a manufacturer's representative and business development principal, and having founded a successful manufacturer's rep firm in the semiconductor industry, he has served in that role through a top-down relational approach to key account penetration. Barbara D. Stinnett Ms. Stinnett is Founder and CEO of Timmaron Partners, LLC. She is an operating executive with over 25 years of experience in enterprise and consumer markets and global P&L experience. She has managed start-ups to $4B businesses and is recognized for her customer centricity, leading change management, operational best practices, and innovation. Mark Theilken Mr. Theilken is consultant, coach and facilitator with Critical Path Strategies where he brings the sales, marketing, and general management expertise developed during his 30-year career. Most recently, Mr. Theilken served as senior vice president and president of sales solutions with Dendrite International where he directed a business turnaround, managed and integrated an acquisition, and successfully packaged and positioned the company for sale.
